I have over 30 years’ experience in accounting, mostly in various manufacturing industries.  My career begun in a Chartered Accountant firm, working there for a year before going to University to obtain my degree.  Once my degree was completed, I returned to the same accounting firm in Gisborne that I had worked for before going to University.  I then transferred to the Hamilton branch where I gained experience in Auditing, Tax Consulting and specialised Projects.

Upon getting married I moved to Auckland with my husband, where I spent 14 years working as the company accountant for a printing company.  My experience also includes being an accountant for a plastic injection moulding company, working with schools, importer of Italian adhesives, sealants and chemical products for building, exporter of live crayfish and a coffee roaster and vendor of coffee machines.

Now that my four children are fully grown, the move back to a more sedate life has begun.  The opportunity arose for me to come and work for Shelley Tweedy & Associates and I love the challenge.  I work remotely from Auckland and travel down to the Cambridge office once a week.
